If today literally thousands of people are currently lined up outside and shopping inside individual malls all across America at 5 AM

5 AM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are good with Many People

I neither have the resources nor inclination to be one of them. I was happy to have food for Thanksgiving and a roof over my head. Could have used some serious pain killers though, but you take what you can get.

I think many take for granted how fortunate they are. Cry

I was out about 10:00 a.m., and only because I needed a new winter coat....last one I bought was in 1995....... so I don't think it was a waste of money - the old coat is torn and falling apart.....and I got fatter LOL... so I managed to buy one at full price and 1 for a penny..... (they were both over 100 dollars, one has a zip out lining - an actual coat that can be worn separately, the coat itself can be worn 3 season and the second coat was reversible and waterproof..... I'm hoping they last at least another 15 years or so...cause I do not intend to spend anymore on coats in my lifetime

Our family is cutting back on spending this xmas..... so no plans to shop for anything else -

Yes, it was a great deal.... couldn't pass it up, I was beginning to look homeless with the torn coat and all..... I hate shopping.. I tend to only go to craft stores to purchase items I need to make things (like glue, paint, etc....) with found items I have... and I go to the Salvation Army a lot.... just couldn't find a decent coat to fit there this time. I'd rather buy the recycled clothes if at all possible, that way I am not directly supporting corporatocracies.... and way too many people throw out clothing that is perfectly fine. I wear my clothes out completely or if I outgrow them, donate them back to the SAL.
